This is a great interpretive center for the Big Bear Valley. They have a nice store with a large selection of books about the area. Guided tours, Eagle Counts, and Music in the Mountains concert series in the summer, nature walks and snowshoe tours
This is a great, mostly level, paved path that winds through the Serrano Campground, through a meadow and along the lake from North Shore Lane by the Solar Observatory to Stanfield Cutoff. It's about 3.2 miles long.
One of our favorite restaurants! Chef Richard creates wonderful specials on the weekends for evening dining. Barbara makes the delicious desserts. Friendly staff, great service, great food, large portions. Open for breakfast and lunch, dinners Friday and Saturday, closed Mon & Tues except summers.
Even though we like to tell guests that you don't have to dress up in Big Bear, Peppercorn Grille is a bit more elegant than a lot of restaurants. We call it California Cuisine...excellent food and service. Reservations a must, and you can do it online now!
This is our favorite restaurant in Big Bear. Small, intimate, family owned and operated with fabulous Northern Italian cuisine. Light, and delicious. Reservations needed on weekends...good idea any day. Try the Sand Dabs, or the Gorgonzola Stuffed Filet Mignon and the Harvest Salad!
Our favorite for Mexican food. All homemade sauces, fabulous salsa bar, great margaritas and draft beer. $1.00 tacos Monday and Tuesday nights excluding holiday times. Sister restaurant to El Jacalito Grill in the Village.
World class French cuisine is no available in this darling restaurant in Big Bear Village. Prix fixe menu is quite reasonable-fabulous food, great service, warm ambiance. We are very happy about this new restaurant!
